Turkey’s opposition party maintains narrow lead in Ankara: NTV

ANKARA (Reuters) – Turkey’s primary opposition candidate for the capital Ankara maintained his slim lead in Sunday’s native elections after greater than three-quarters of poll containers have been opened, broadcaster NTV stated.

Mansur Yavas, mayoral candidate for the opposition Republican Individuals’s Occasion (CHP) had 49.eight % of votes, whereas Mehmet Ozhaseki of the ruling AK Occasion had 47.eight %.
