(Reuters) – A person convicted of capturing a 61-year-old grandmother to dying as he and his confederate burglarized her dwelling throughout a week-long crime spree in 2010 was executed by deadly injection on Tuesday in Texas.
Mark Soliz, 37, was declared lifeless at 6:32 p.m. CDT (2332 GMT) on the state’s dying chamber in Huntsville.
Soliz was the 15th inmate in the USA and the sixth in Texas to be executed in 2019, in keeping with the Loss of life Penalty Info Middle. Texas has executed extra prisoners than every other state because the Supreme Courtroom reinstated the dying penalty in 1976.
