PRAGUE (Reuters) – The Prague state lawyer has halted felony investigations into Prime Minister Andrej Babis, his members of the family and others, the lawyer’s workplace mentioned on Friday.
The investigations into accusations of fraud associated to European Union subsidies had posed the most important problem to Babis’ political profession. He denied any wrongdoing.
The investigation was the main cause why numerous Czech political events refuse to cooperate with Babis’s ruling populist ANO motion. He runs a minority administration along with the centre-left Social Democrats that should lean on Communist Get together votes to safe a majority in parliament.
