New Zealand company mocked for selling cans of ‘pure fresh’ air for $65

Kiwiana is catching some warmth for promoting duty-free cans of “natural contemporary New Zealand air” on the Auckland airport, in line with a tweet by means of journalist Damian Christie.
“You’ve were given to be sh—g me. Additionally, $98, so no longer precisely a lovely prank present,” Christie wrote upon seeing the object.
The four-pack, which guarantees “the purest air you’ll ever breathe…harvested at the top ridges above the New Zealand snow line,” fetches about $100 New Zealand greenbacks, or $65 U.S, and claims to include 130 to 140 “deep breathes” in step with can.
“New Zealand’s distinctive place within the Southern Ocean way KIWIANA AIR has crossed no primary landmass prior to flowing over the pristine Southern Alps of New Zealand and into this will,” the bundle reads.
On the other hand, many on Twitter don’t appear to be as inspired with the canned air — or the cost tag.
In step with the Kiwiana website online, the corporate is devoted to bringing the most efficient merchandise from New Zealand – allegedly “the purest nation on the earth” – to the hundreds on the remainder of the planet.
