Tyler Perry warns about Facebook scams using his name in viral video
Tyler Perry is directing fanatics to not fall for any scams involving his title.
“I’m really not gifting away the rest on Fb,” he showed in a Fb clip posted to his web page on Tuesday.
Within the video, titled, “Do not Fall For Scams,” Perry, 48, warned fans that he is now not gifting away any money regardless of what some hoax “giveaways” declare, even though he did not specify what precisely the scams entailed.
The “Diary of Mad Black Girl” director added that “[his] staff has to close down these items on a regular basis,” regarding scams.
“There’s a brand new one shooting up, don’t give your data to those other people, don’t give them the rest,” he wired.
He persisted, “I do not know who they’re however each day we need to get 10, 20, 30 of the ones issues close down on Fb.”
Perry reiterated he’s now not providing any giveaways.
“Please do me a want,” he instructed. “Please do me a want, put up this all over the place so other people will know that’s not true.”
