Florida man drops meth off at sheriff's office for testing after suffering 'bad reaction,' police say
A Florida guy was once arrested this week after government say he requested a sheriff’s workplace to check his medicine.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Workplace stated Douglas Peter Kelly, 49, of Hawthorne, informed officials he suffered a “unhealthy response” after smoking methamphetamine he bought every week prior.
“The suspect stated he believed on account of the ‘violent response’ he had after smoking the drug, he was once bought the fallacious narcotic,” the sheriff’s workplace explained in a Facebook post, which has since long past viral with greater than 41,000 stocks as of Thursday afternoon.
Deputies stated Kelly made the request as a result of he sought after to “press fees” on the one that bought him the “fallacious narcotic.”
The sheriff’s workplace stated deputies informed Kelly they may check the drug if he went to the sheriff’s workplace. He adopted their recommendation and drove to the station, shedding off a “crystal-like substance” wrapped in foil.
After box checking out, government made up our minds the pattern was once, in truth, meth.
Kelly was once then arrested and charged with ownership of methamphetamine. He is being held at Putnam County Prison on $five,000 bond.
“PUBLIC NOTICE: In case you consider you had been bought unhealthy medicine, we’re providing a unfastened carrier to check them for you,” the sheriff’s workplace posted on Fb Wednesday, garnering 1000’s of replies.
“Lol critically?” one Fb person requested.
