Teen sentenced in manslaughter case that caused furor
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A South Dakota youngster has been sentenced to about 1 ½ years in prison for inflicting a deadly crash following a drug dispute — a punishment the sufferer’s circle of relatives says is just too lenient.
The Argus Chief studies that 17-year-old Alex Lingor, of Sioux Falls, was once sentenced Tuesday for manslaughter within the February 2017 loss of life of 15-year-old Kareem Cisse.
Government say Cisse and two others stiffed Lingor right through a $25 marijuana deal and Lingor chased after their automotive in his truck, hitting it and sending it crashing right into a tree.
Cisse’s folks say the sentence is not good enough justice.
