Prime accused in Asma Rani murder case handed over to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Mujahidullah Afridi, the top suspect within the homicide of scientific pupil Asma Rani, was once on Saturday passed over to Pakistan by the use of the Interpol.
Asma, a third-year scientific pupil in Abbottabad, was once in her native land of Kohat on holiday when, on January 27, Mujahid Afridi allegedly opened hearth on her for refusing his marriage proposal.
Afridi reached Islamabad and was once passed over to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police which was once provide on the airport previously.
The suspect has been passed over to Kohat police, resources added.
The Interpol on Thursday arrested Mujahid from Sharjah, Inspector Normal of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Mehsud mentioned right through a press convention.
The KP police had approached Interpol after the accused, the nephew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf district president Aftab Alam, fled the rustic following the incident.
The Interpol had positioned Mujahidullah on its maximum sought after record.
