Javed Hashmi has no political standing: PTI's Fawad Chaudhry
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Fawad Chaudhry mentioned on Monday that senior politician Javed Hashmi has no political standing.
Chaudhry, whereas talking at an occasion right here, mentioned: “Javed Hashmi has not received an election in South Punjab, possibly he received in 1970. He was the minister of Basic Zia-ul-Haq in 1979.”
The PTI chief’s statements got here as Javed Hashmi met former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif forward of the celebration’s central govt committee (CEC) assembly.
Chaudhry added that out of 27 PML-N CEC members, six had been from the Sharif household.
“Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz are each members of the committee. Not a single individual from South Punjab is included neither is there any illustration from Sindh.”
Hashmi, a veteran politician from Multan, had left the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) after a years-long affiliation and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2011. Nevertheless, he later disassociated himself from the PTI following the celebration’s extended protest sit-in towards the PML-N authorities in 2014.

Addressing the media later, Railways Minister Saad Rafique mentioned PML-N President Nawaz Sharif appreciated Hashmi’s position for the supremacy of legislation and civilian authority.
Rafique mentioned that the celebration will assessment Hashmi’s inclusion within the celebration in its subsequent stage of motion for the supremacy of legislation.
